Tamasha Patrons

Tamasha is delighted to announce the founding of a new Patrons group, with three inaugural members who have all been loyal friends and champions of the company from its inception.  Please welcome Anant Shah, Anuj Chande and Ramesh Vala OBE. We are honoured to have their support. News about their involvement with the company, and of new Patrons we hope to add over the coming the months and years, will feature on this page in due course

Ramesh K Vala OBE

Managing Director, Eudaimonia Advisory Services Ltd

Graduating from the London School of Economics with an Upper Second Honours degree in Law, Ramesh went on to achieve a distinction in his finals at Lancaster Gate College of Law. 18 months after qualifying as a solicitor at Grangewoods, Ramesh became a salaried and later an equity partner. Specialising in commercial property law, he joined the law firm of Jeffrey Green Russell as an equity partner in 1989.

He is currently Managing Director of Eudaimonia Advisory Services Limited and Consultant to Gordon Dadds Solicitors.

He has worked tirelessly to raise money for various national and international charities through various sporting pursuits. Highlights include tackling Mount Kenya, Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya, raising a total of £17,000 for Cancer Relief Macmillan Fund, £4,000 for Anti-Slavery International and £49,000 for Children of Mukuru. Ramesh also led a group of 90 cyclists on an expedition from Nairobi to Ngorongoro Crater, covering 263 kilometres in three and a half days. This expedition raised £200,000 for Food for Global Life. In June 2006, Ramesh ran a half marathon through the Lewa Game Reserve in Kenya, raising funds for the Tusk Trust, in 2002 he ran the London Marathon and raised £16,500 for Get Kids Going! and in 2003 he ran the New York Marathon, raising a further £7,500 for Get Kids Going! and £7,500 for CancerBackUp. To date, Ramesh has raised both directly and indirectly, over £1 .5 million for various charities.

Anuj J Chande

Partner, Grant Thornton UK

Anuj joined Grant Thornton in 1985 in the management consultancy practice which he ran between 1991 and 1993.  Previously he has worked with Coopers & Lybrand, NCR Corporation in the USA and Albright & Wilson. He has over 34 years professional and commercial experience.  He has advised in a variety of sectors including technology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and consumer products.

Anuj has been a member of the London Employers Coalition and the SME Board of the National Employment Panel. He has also been a Mentor with the Princes Youth Business Trust. He is a member of the Embassy Man Charity and Tamasha. Anuj has won a number of awards over the years including Lloyds TSB Jewel Awards Professional of the Year and the Pride of India Award from the NRI Institute

Anant Shah

Group Vice Chairman, Meghraj Group

Anant is a co-founder of Meghraj Group with his brother Vipin. 

He is the Chairman of Meghraj Capital LLP, and is based in London. He engages in marketing the Group’s services and is in charge of the Group’s philanthropic and social activities. 

Anant was born in Nairobi and educated in London. He has a B.Sc. Degree from the London School of Economics.
