Artistic Director

Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience

The Board of Directors of Tamasha Theatre Company wishes to appoint an inspirational Artistic Director, who will build on the evolution of the company.

Tamasha means “commotion”, creating a stir. For 24 years Tamasha has been breaking new ground as a touring theatre company with a programme of new writing, artist training and intracultural practice.

Kristine Landon-Smith and Sudha Bhuchar have run the company as Co-Artistic Directors since its inception. Kristine left in April 2013 to take up a position in Sydney and Sudha will step down in April 2015.

Its work has evolved from a British Asian focus to include a more intracultural approach, and we are looking for someone with substantial experience of creating, directing, producing or curating theatre to continue this development.
