We are looking for to recruit for a new position responsible for the delivery and management of the Tamasha Developing Artists programme as Project Manager, also contributing to its strategic development.

Key responsibilities include:
* Project management and delivery of existing and new initiatives in the TDA programme
* Feeding into the overall strategic development of the TDA programme
* Development and management of TDA partnerships
* Creation, monitoring and closure of annual TDA budget including individual course budgets
* Close liaison and work with Tamasha regarding effective fundraising for the TDA programme
* Lead responsibility for all internal and external communications in relation to TDA
* Development of TDA profile and status in all relevant sectors
* Recruitment and contracting management of all TDA freelancers and partners
* Supervision of TDA administration by Tamasha staff and TDA Evaluator / Curatorial Consultants

Location: Tamasha offices: currently London Bridge, London SE1 moving in 2012 to Richmix, London E1
Responsible to: General Manager
Responsible for: Freelance project staff including TDA Evaluator
Hours: Average of 2 days per week (days flexible)
Rate: c. £130 per day
Start date: Ideally end January / mid-February 2012


Person Specification

Essential
* Relevant professional experience within a theatre or arts context
* Experience in project delivery
* Good communication skills, verbal and written
* Experience of creating and managing budgets
* Experience of managing freelancers and/or working with staff
* Good time management and ability to prioritise a varied workload
* A genuine enthusiasm for Tamasha’s work
* Strong basic IT skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook

Desirable
* Experience of delivering and evaluating professional development programmes
* An understanding of issues relating to reporting to funders
* Experience of supporting artists in developing their specific skills for employment
