Vacancies

Board members

Tamasha Theatre Company is entering an important phase of its 21-year history.  We are looking to appoint up to four new Board Members, who understand the company’s values and have the experience and vision to support its future development.  We are particularly interested in appointing individuals with specific knowledge of Finance, Arts Strategy and Local Government.

Board Members have legal, financial and fiduciary duties under company law and charity law, and responsibilities for ensuring that Tamasha complies with the conditions placed on grants from public funds.  The Board also has responsibilities for the Company’s vision and strategy.  It is therefore important that Board Members fully understand and support Tamasha’s artistic policy, that they develop a good understanding of the complex priorities of a funded arts organisation, and that they keep abreast with issues that might affect the Company.

Please note that these are voluntary positions.

Tamasha is both a registered charity (1001483) and a Company limited by guarantee, and is governed by its charitable objects and Memorandum and Articles of Association.  For an information pack, please click here or call 020 7633 2270

Deadline for applications: midday, Friday 30 July 2010

Tamasha is committed to equal opportunities.
