Making It Happen #2: Tamasha's Producing Fayre

The day will include:


An Grants for the Arts presentation

A presentation by Tamasha’s Artistic Director Fin Kennedy who will talk you through applying to the open "Grants for the Arts"  funding stream. Fin lends years of experience to help better equip you and spur confidence in making applications to support your work.

A panel discussion with venues and producers

Venues and producers from around the UK will talk about how they got into the field, what their current roles entail and how they work with artists. The panel will also answer any questions you may have regarding approaching venues, raising finance, budgets, different models, marketing, building relationships with the press and more.  

One-to-one Grants for the Arts surgeries with ACE

For the first time, Tamasha are offering 15 minute, one-to-one surgeries with representatives from ACE's Theatre Team to talk over your ideas or application, and receive the advice to help put you in a better position to secure the funding you need.


- Speed networking with the Tamasha team and other industry professionals
- Networking and a complimentary glass of wine.

Are you a theatre maker or aspiring producer who wants to produce your own work? Then join us at Making it Happen #2 and learn directly from industry professionals, Arts Council England (ACE) and more.

After the success of 2015’s Making It Happen in 2015 and 2016, Tamasha returns with another inspiring event for artists and producers who want to find out more about producing their own work.

The day will include presentations, discussions and surgeries that will help you in taking those first steps towards seeing your ideas realised on the stage.
