Previous scratch night audience feedback:

"I love the Tamasha scratch nights. Always interesting, challenging, great way for artists to try stuff out."

"Meaningful, universal, engaging, worthwhile."

"Really good event. I am a writer, just starting off and it was a fantastic experience to be able to witness (rather than just read) and contribute to ‘work in progress’ – thanks for the opportunity."

Tamasha Scratch Night: The Playwrights 2018

Mon 20 August 2018, 7.30pm | Soho Theatre, London W1

Spend an evening with some of the UK’s freshest theatrical voices.

Tamasha is an Associate Company at Soho Theatre, central London's new writing venue. Our latest Scratch Night will feature extracts from new work written by the company’s diverse cohort of writers, Tamasha Playwrights.

A writer-led collective founded in 2014, Tamasha Playwrights is formed of nine emerging writers from a culturally diverse range of backgrounds who have been working with Tamasha’s Artistic Director Fin Kennedy over the last year.

This is your chance to be the first to hear these new plays performed script-in-hand by a team of professional actors, directed by Atri Banerjee.
