Tessa Hart

Tessa Hart is a London-based writer, actress, director and producer. She is the Artistic Director of The Bread & Roses Theatre in Clapham as well as of Goblin Baby Theatre Co.

Staged plays of hers include one-act family theatre shows (S̶)Elfish Christmas and CinderElla - And Her Smelly Old Slipper (both Bread & Roses Theatre, 2015), short plays Bottom Girl (Southwark Playhouse, 2016), The Appointment (Arts Theatre West End, Hen and Chickens Theatre & further venues, 2014-2016) and The Election (Bread & Roses Theatre, 2016), monologues Hail Your Majesty (Bussey Building, The Space & further venues, 2015/2016), Man Up, Man Down (Bread & Roses Theatre, 2016) and Cassie Knows Best (Corbett Theatre, 2010), as well as adaptations of Strindberg's Miss Julie (Bread & Roses Theatre, 2015) and Chekhov's The Proposal (Hen & Chickens Theatre, 2014). Her full length plays tu: pɔɪnt faɪv and Being John Barrowman have had rehearsed readings as well.
