6:30pm: Playwriting workshop with exercises to get people writing and exploring ideas. Information about the competition with a Q&A.

We are collaborating with Soho Theatre and Rich Mix to provide a friendly and informal session about Soho Theatre’s national playwriting competition, the Verity Bargate Award.

Do you have a story that needs to be told? Soho Theatre are on the hunt for the next Verity Bargate Award winning play. This biennial national award seeks stand out inspiring new writing talent with past winners including Vicky Jones and Matt Charman. The winner receives £7000 in respect of an exclusive option for Soho Theatre to produce the play.

You just need to be resident in the UK or Ireland and had fewer than 3 professional productions to apply.
